North Little Rock Murals

North Little Rock Murals, originally uploaded by Arkansas Ties.

This is probably something very easy but it's just not clicking with me what this is supposed to represent. It on the Riverwalk Murals in North Little Rock.

Do you think it's about the bridges, hiway 365, railroads, etc., just a conglomeration of things that say North Little Rock? I haven't seen that mural before.

I think that once established, wisteria would resist any brown thumb, and I do mean resist.

Yes, I agree with Annie about content. It appears to have perhaps been painted by school children. Maybe the children were from Mayflower or Oak Grove??

Holler at the North Little Rock History Commision (758-7585). They're a great bunch of folks and could perhaps shed some light on its origin.

Actually this was painted by an adult, Betty Dortch McMath. Its one of several paintings on the North Little Rock River Walk. I walked the entire route and photographed each panel. Yes, I agree on the child like paintings. Just a new hobby of mine, photographing these. You can find the other murals here (I don't think the outside murals were painted by the same person): http://www.arkansasties.com/Pulaski/Structures4/NorthLittleRockMural.htm
